Open Access Policy
The International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation (IJPR) is a fully open access journal. Every article we publish is made freely available online immediately upon publication — there is no subscription fee, no paywall, no registration requirement, and no embargo period during which access is restricted.
What "Open Access" Means Here
- Any reader, anywhere, can access the full text of every published article at no cost, permanently.
- Access does not require creating an account or providing personal information.
- Articles are available in both HTML and PDF format from the moment they are published.
License
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, anyone may:
- Read, download, and store the article
- Copy and redistribute it in any medium or format
- Remix, transform, and build upon it, including for commercial purposes

Author Rights
Authors retain full copyright of their work. Publishing with IJPR does not require authors to transfer copyright to the journal or publisher. See the Copyright and Licensing Policy for full detail.
No Embargo, No Delayed Access
Unlike hybrid or delayed-open-access models, IJPR does not delay public access to any article for any period after publication, regardless of Article Processing Charge (APC) payment status or waiver status.
Funding Compliance
Because all content is published under CC BY 4.0 with no embargo, IJPR publications meet the open access requirements of most funder mandates (e.g., funder policies requiring immediate CC BY open access). Authors should check their specific funder's requirements, and the journal can provide documentation to support compliance reporting on request — see Contact.
