Abstract

The intervention aims to identify how to integrate people with special needs in local development in Algeria.

In the end, it was concluded that the inclusion of people with special needs is not neglected in the laws and administrative procedures in Algeria, but what exists is not sufficient, especially in terms of application and moral responsibilities towards society and its members.

The intervention ended with a set of suggestions, the most important of which are: Adopting a strategic vision for comprehensive and sustainable local development to include all segments of society, including people with special needs, paying attention to the legal system related to the participation of people with special needs in local development in terms of preparing legislation and ensuring its implementation, educating the community about the importance of benefiting From the energies of all segments of society, including people with special needs, in achieving high levels of local development.
